District 87 Kindergarten Pre-Registration

Eligibility
Children reaching the age of five (5) on or before September 1, 2020, are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten for the 2020-21 school year. Children will attend their assigned school in District 87 boundaries unless otherwise noted. To determine which school your child will attend, view the boundary map or call the district office.

Make an appointment
Kindergarten Pre-Registration will occur April 9 at each elementary school from 9-11 am, 1-3 pm, and 4-6 pm. Please call your school to make an appointment.

What to bring
The child’s CERTIFIED birth certificate must be presented on pre-registration day or on the first day of school. The souvenir hospital certificate with the footprints will not be accepted. If you do not have the certified birth certificate, contact the hospital where your child was born. 
Students entering kindergarten MUST turn in a current physical exam and proof of immunizations by the first day of school or they will not be allowed to attend class. Parents are encouraged to turn in this information at registration.
