Illinois State treasurer, Alexi Giannoulias was in town on Wed. May 20 to speak on the topic of “What the Stimulus Package can do for your Business.” He spoke for the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and in his speech he cited Katie’s Kids Learning Center as a business that is benefiting form the Employ IL Program, a program in which the state deposits money at a financial institution so a borrower can get a lower interest rate. While in town, he toured our existing site at 1602 Glenbridge Road and our new site being built at 2003 Jacobssen in Normal.

On Friday, April 17 leaders from across the county and the state came together in honor of Katie's Kids at Fort Jesse groundbreaking ceremony. At Fort Jesse is now open for enrollment!
